GUY C. NICHOLSON
Mr. Nicholson is a trial lawyer specializing in business disputes with
an emphasis on corporate, entertainment and banking matters. He is a
graduate of Loyola University, where he received his Juris Doctor degree
in 1982. Prior to the formation of Tisdale & Nicholson, Mr. Nicholson
was a litigation partner with the Los Angeles law firm of Barash & Hill,
formerly the West Coast office of Chicago based Wildman, Harrold, Allen
& Dixon. He is licensed to practice law before all California state
courts and before the United States District Courts for the Central,
Southern and Northern Districts of California and before the United
States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Since 1987, Mr. Nicholson
has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles Municipal Court.
Over the years, Mr. Nicholson has represented financial institutions and
their officers and directors in connection with various disputes in the
real estate, lending and securities areas generally and specifically in
connection with issues involving alleged violations of the Bank Holding
Company Act and the Federal Reserve Act and related claims for relief.
He has conducted the successful defense of clients in matters involving
allegations of improper solicitation and lobbying of local and foreign
government officials, illegal restraints of trade and of usurpation of
corporate opportunities by insiders.
